Data I collect

Contact form

When you send a message, I process your email address, subject and message content. Messages are stored in a database hosted by OVHcloud (France, Strasbourg) and may trigger an email notification.

  • Purpose: answering your request
  • Legal basis: legitimate interest and, where relevant, pre-contractual steps (GDPR art. 6.1.f and 6.1.b)
  • Retention: 3 years after the last exchange, then deletion or interim archiving where a legal obligation requires it

reCAPTCHA

The form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3. This processing only runs after consent to Google cookies. Google may collect technical data (IP address, browser, interactions) to detect abuse.

This processing is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Analytics — Matomo

I use Matomo, self-hosted at matomo.ad-delvallee.fr (OVHcloud, France, Strasbourg), to measure site audience (page views, referrers, device type).

  • Legal basis: consent (cookie banner)
  • Anonymisation: IP addresses are anonymised
  • Statistics retention: up to 25 months
  • Opt-out: via the cookie banner or "Manage cookies" in the footer

Technical logs

The hosting provider may record access logs (IP address, date, URL, user-agent) for security and service reliability.

  • Purpose: security, technical diagnostics
  • Legal basis: legitimate interest
  • Retention: 6 months

Cookies

    • i18n_redirected: language preference
  • Google (after consent): cookies related to reCAPTCHA
  • Analytics (after consent): Matomo first-party cookies, including _pk_id, _pk_ses, _pk_ref (typically up to 13 months for the visitor ID, depending on configuration)

GDPR rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing).

To exercise them: contact@ad-delvallee.fr or the contact form. I respond within one month maximum.

You may also lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL: cnil.fr).

International transfers

reCAPTCHA may transfer data to the United States. This transfer is framed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and by your consent.

Other processing (site, API, messages, Matomo) is hosted in France (Strasbourg).
